LAHORE (Dunya News) – Addressing in Jamaat-e-Islami’s Azm-e-Nau convention at Wahdat Colony, JIP chief, Senator Siraj-Ul-Haq said that country’s ruling parties have failed to make Urdu, Pakistan’s official language for 70 years which was to be made the official language within 15 years according to the constitution but the rulers never acted upon it.

He stressed that JIP’s struggle is fighting the case against interest based economic system disagreeing with the Nawaz narrative which suggests that economic system cannot survive without the interest based economy. “This narrative is presented just to please USA,” he added.

He lashed out against the governance of ruling party by pointing out that no governmental university has been created in Lahore for the past four years giving the impressiong that education is more important than building infrastructure.
