Summary Police managed to seize arms and ammunitions in huge quantity which was being smuggled to Punjab on an oil-tanker.
On a check post of Chamkini police, when an oil-tanker was stopped for search, weapons and ammunitions were recovered from its secret compartments. The recovered arms and ammunitions included 35,000 catridges, 23 automatic guns, 14 rifles, 14 pistols of 30-bore, 12 rifles of 44-bore, 3 Kalashnikovs, 4 rifles of 8mm and 218 magazines. Police has arrested two suspects belonging for Tehsil Bara of Khyber Agency and have also registered a case.
