Summary Ex-PM called his indictment a severe damage to justice and raised his concerns on the case

LONDON (Dunya News/AFP) – Talking to media in London, Nawaz Sharif asked whether his indictment is a part of justice or something else, adding his severe concerns on the matter. He said there is no other example of such indictment given during absence.

Ex-PM declared the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) made to investigate Sharif family s London properties as biased and claimed that PML-N s enemies were included in the JIT. He prayed for the good health of his wife Kulsoom Nawaz who is under medical care in London.

Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has decided to return home and booked ticket to fly back on October 21, sources told.

Sacked PM will fly from London on October 21 and return to Lahore. His ticket has been booked for the flight PK-758. He will travel with his friend Hanif Khan. The flight will arrive in Lahore on early morning

Nawaz Sharif will aboard the flight from London to Lahore on October 21 while he is due to appear before accountability court on October 26. The court will hear corruption references filed against him by National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

On Thursday, the NAB court indicted Nawaz Sharif on corruption charges spiralling from the Panama Papers leak in a case that could ultimately see the former leader jailed. The court also indicted his daughter Maryam and her husband in the case, which relates to the family s luxury London properties. Maryam, who attended the hearing in Islamabad, pleaded not guilty and blasted the court s decision afterwards.

Moreover, Nawaz Sharif - who is the current PML-N president - has other worries as media reports claim several party leaders are upset with his leadership. Today, Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Riaz Hussain Pirzada suggested that Punjab CM Shehbaz should lead PML-N and Nawaz Sharif should step down in the light of corruption cases against him.

He was disqualified by Supreme Court in Panama Papers case.
