Summary Sindh High Court asked the registrar of writ branch to present the file of Dr Afia Siddiqui, detained in US jail on the next date of hearing.
Dr. Fouzia Saddiqui, sister of Dr. Afia Siddiqui has filed a writ petition in the Sindh High Court, seeking a direction for the government to help bring back Dr. Afia.Dr Aafia was allegedly nabbed by US security forces from Kabul on the charge that she made a murderous attack on some of the securitymen, and later shifted to a US jail. But, her family members claim that she had been missing for the past several years after being kidnapped, alongwith her children, from an airport in Pakistan.Iqbal Aqeel, counsel of Dr. Afia told the court that the file of the case has been lost, on that the court called the registrar of SHC and directed him to present the file on the next hearing.
