Summary Nurses in Multan protested in front of the PMs residence as their salary is being cut regardless of the contractual agreement with the Pakistan Nursing Association.
A large number of nurses gathered to protest holding banners and placard. They chanted slogans against the pay cuts and said that after being contractually hired, the 25% pay cut is an economic exploitation.The protesters on the basis of service structure, pay protection should be provided otherwise the protest will continue. The nurses from Nishtar Hospital, Civil Hospital and Children’s Complex have threatened that they will stop working if their demands are not met.
