ISLAMABAD (Dunya News)- Federal Law Minister Zaid Hamid had dismissed rumors pertaining to controversy about Finality of Prophet-hood (Khatam-e-Nabuwat) which was created by Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed of Awami Muslim League during passage of the Election Bill 2017.
The federal minister said that government can’t even think of doing so while adding that “the National Assembly has passed a new law regarding elections after 40 years. Election Act has been passed by the current government and eight election related rules have been amalgamated and reformed.”
Hamid was speaking to media in a press conference with Anoushey Rehman.
He added that PPP is only creating ruckus as Nawaz was benefitting from it.
