LAHORE (Dunya News) – According to details, one-and-a-half-year-old Fiza was playing in the street near her house in Begum Kot area of Lahore when she fell in an open manhole.
Family members with the help of neighbours retrieved the body from the manhole. Residents of the area staged a protest and demanded action against the officials responsible for the incident.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Punjab has taken notice of the incident and sought a report from Deputy Commissioner within 48 hours. On the other hand, MD WASA has also suspended three officers after the media coverage of the incident.
