Rangers and police launched a search operation after three days’ continued tension in Karachi and held several persons, Dunya News reported.As per details, Godhra Camp in New Karachi has been under tense situation for last three days where exchange of firing between two groups had spread a wave of fear.Rangers surrounded the area when a youth injured in this firing, while a police party was also targeted which went there to control the situation.It is worth mentioning that the operation the area was surrounded at the time when Provincial Interior Minister Zulfiqar Mirza, addressing to a gathering, assured that no operation would be launched in Karachi.Police performed its duty as Second Force while Rangers played the role of Operational Force in this search operation. The cordoned off situation in the area for many hours crated hurdles for the citizens while returning homes.Commandos and contingent of Anti-Terrorist Force of Rangers were engaged in this search operation, while media teams were not allowed to enter the area for coverage.
