Summary US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton telephoned Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and reiterated upon the Raymond Davis issue. Prime Minister has said that Raymonds issue will be resolved through court of law, Dunya News reported.
During the telephone call made by Hillary Clinton to PM Gilani, both representatives exchanged views upon various issues including strengthening and broadening Pak-US relations. Hillary Clinton said that US gives importance to the relations with Pakistan and wants to strengthen these ties. In this telephonic conversation, Hillary Clinton once again raised the issue of Raymond Davis’s release and providing him with Diplomatic immunity. However PM Gilani clearly stated this Raymond’s case will be decided by the court. Whatever decision is taken up by courts under the law, government will full abide by it, PM added.
