Updated on

Summary The Sindh government has opened Abdullah Haroon Road for public and private traffic after the suspension of several years.

Following a bombing incident near American consulate building, located on Abdullah Haroon Road, the authorities had banned motorcycle, Suzuki High Roof, bus, rickshaw and taxi on the road. The security was also tightened on the passage to the consulate. Barbed wires were laid and concrete barriers were put near the consulate building to prevent an untoward incident. The decision of restoring Abdullah Haroon Road for public and private traffic was made after the consulate was shifted to another location.
