PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Commenting on NA-120 by-election results, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Co-Chairperson Asif Ali Zardari on Monday told journalists in Peshawar that ‘it was a story of conflicting interests and as it happened, Maryam Nawaz revealed everything in her speech after Kulsoom Nawaz’s victory.’

According to unofficial results of 220 polling stations announced by the Returning Officer (RO) on late Sunday night, Kulsoom Nawaz secured 61,745 votes to win the seat while PTI’s Dr Yasmeen Rashid bagged 47,099 votes and remained second.

Yaqoob Sheikh, an independent candidate backed by the newly formed Milli Muslim League (MML), stood third according to the provisional results while PPP’s Faisal Mir was fourth.
