Summary Meeting of judicial commission will be held in Islamabad in which the issue of reappointment of Justice Khalil ur Rehman Ramday and Justice Rehmat Hussain Jaffri as ad-hoc judges will be discussed, Dunya News reported.

The Chief Justice of Pakistan including 4 senior judges of the Supreme Court, 1 retired judge, Federal Law Minister Babar Awan, Attorney General Maulvi Anwar ul Haq and Pakistan Bar Council’s representative Dr Khalid Rajha will attend the meeting.The matter of reappointment of Justice Khalil ur Rehman Ramday and Justice Rehmat Hussain Jaffri as ad-hoc judges will be discussed in the meeting along with the issue of permanent appointment of 9 additional judges in Sindh High Court.The proposed names of both judges will be moved to the President after the approval of Judicial Commission.Earlier, appointment of Justice Rehmat Hussain Jaffri as ad-hoc judge for 2 years and Justice Khalil ur Rehman Ramday as ad-hoc judge for 1 year was proposed in a Full Court Meeting of the Supreme Court.However, the Bar Councils have opposed this proposal.
