BADIN (Dunya News) – According to sources, law enforcement agencies on Monday arrested three alleged members of Ansar-ul-Shariah from Badin, reported Dunya News.
According to details, a raid was carried out on the basis of relevant intelligence. The arrested suspects were arrested when they had taken refuge in Badin after fleeing from Karachi. The suspects were found from the house of a close aide of these suspects.
Sources said that all three suspects are close aides of Ansar-ul-Shariah chief Abdul Kareem Sarosh. Moreover, hard drives were also recovered from these suspects. Earlier, the network of militant outfit Ansar-ul-Shariah was quashed after an assassination attempt on the life of Khawaja Izharul Hassan.
Several suspects allegedly linked with Ansar-ul-Shariah, including women were arrested from Karachi in different intelligence based raids during the past week. Most of these suspects were highly qualified individuals and were part of reputed universities of Karachi.
