Summary Six terrorists of a banned outfit have been shifted to Lahore after arresting them from Bahawalpur.
According to police sources, police and intelligence agencies launched operation in Bahawalpur, Uch Sharif and Ali Pur. During the operation, 6 terrorists of banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi named Ghulam Muhammad, Asghar, Hameed, Imdadullah, Riaz Ahmed and Abdul Haneef were arrested from Bahawalpur and then they were shifted to Lahore. After initial investigations, it was known that terrorist Ghulam Mumahhad’s name was included in the Red Book who was involved in several terror activities including attack on Chorangi Imam Bargah and mourning procession in Karachi. According to sources, heavy arms and explosive material were recovered from terrorists’ possession.
