Summary Employees of Sindh Education Board were protesting in front of Karachi Press Club over nonpayment of salaries when police baton-charged them.

The teachers staged a sit-in outside the press club. All Sindh Education Board employees were protesting because they didn’t get their salaries and they were not made permanent employees of the board. Police reached the spot and resorted to baton-charge, due to which, several teachers sustained injuries. Police also hurled water cannons to disperse the protesters. The defiant teachers are still holding sit-in there.
