KARACHI (Dunya News) – KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) leader Farooq Sattar on Friday expressed doubts over the joint refusal of political parties to attend the Multi-Party Conference (MPC).
“No party initially declined to attend the conference. How did everyone refused for MPC altogether?” he asked while talking to media outside Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC).
He asserted that political parties turned down the invitation, now the people of Sindh will boycott them.
Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf, Jamaat-i-Islami, Awami National Party, Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl, All Pakistan Muslim League and Pakistan Peoples Party were invited by MQM-P to attend the MPC but almost all of them declined.
Sattar thanked Malik Riaz over working for the betterment of Karachi and asked the Sindh government to also be mindful of such steps.
Farooq Sattar and Amir Khan appeared before the ATC for the hearing of attack on media houses and provocative speech case. The court adjourned the hearing over the petitions pertaining the approval of bails till September 8.
