Summary Rangers have installed chiller plants and electric water coolers in different parts of Karachi.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Rangers have started their project of providing clean drinking water to the people of Karachi on Thursday, Dunya News reported.
According to Rangers spokesperson, steel and cemented water tanks, chiller plants and electric water coolers have been installed in Baldia, Orangi Town, Sarjani Town, North Nazimabad, Kokan Muhallah and Hub River Road areas.
The spokesperson further informed that one lakh gallons of clean drinking water will be provided to the masses daily. Each electric cooler installed by the Rangers has capacity of 500 litres of water, each cemented water cooler can contain up to 400 to 500 gallons of water while the capacity of each steel coolers is 3000 to 5000 gallons of water.
