Summary PMD has predicted rain in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar and upper parts of the country.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted rain in different parts of the country including Islamabad, Lahore and Peshawar during the next 24 hours, Dunya News reported on Sunday.
According to Met Office, a seasonal low lies over north Balochistan while Monsoon currents from Bay of Bengal are penetrating upper parts of the country.
Rain-thunderstorm accompanied by gusty winds is expected at scattered places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa areas of Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Mardan divisions, upper Punjab areas of Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Lahore divisions, Islamabad, FATA and Kashmir.
Rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds is also expected at isolated places in Gilgit-Baltistan, Bannu, Faisalabad and Sahiwal divisions. Hot and humid weather is expected elsewhere in the country.
