KARACHI (Dunya News) – Heavy Rain with gusty winds in different areas of Karachi on Monday broke the heat-wave but also resulted in the tripping of multiple electricity feeders. Locals faced a number of problems as a result of the power outage.
Rain was reported in Malir, Airport, Shahra-e-Faisal, Landhi, Korangi, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, University Road and other areas. Heavy rain with gusty winds uprooted the tents at the cattle market, causing problems for the masses.
Over 200 feeders of K-Electric in various parts of the city tripped due to heavy downpour, causing electricity breakdown in different parts of Karachi. Locals faced a number of problems as a result of the power outage.
