RAJANPUR (Dunya News) – As many as seven policemen, who were abducted by Patt dacoity gang in Ranjanpur have been recovered.
The seven security personnel that included Luqman, Zeeshan, Sabir, Shakir, Jamshed, Safdar and Muzammil, were on their way to home after completing duty hours when they were kidnapped by 15 dacoits in Bangla Ichha police area on Sunday.
According to head of Patt gang Attaullah, the officers were released in an exchange of his two sons whereas the police said that they recovered the abductees during a heavy operation.

Police personnel were off to holidays on a private boat when the bandits kidnapped them as they were unarmed, said district Police Officer (DPO) Attique Tahir.
They claimed that the operation was launched on the directives of Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif for safe recovery of the cops at the earliest.
Last year, Chotu gang laid down arms after Pakistan Army’s grand operation in the area. However, his accomplices are once again active in the Kacha area.
