Summary Eid Milad-un-Nabi was celebrated in Peshawar with religious reverence and fervor. Processions were taken out from various areas of the city.
The morning of Eid Milad-un-Nabi in Peshawar began with a 21-gun salute in Jinnah Park. All bazaars, markets, mosques and the government buildings in Peshawar were decorated on the occasion.Several processions were taken out in the city and Mehfil-e-Naat ceremonies were also organized in various parts of the city. Idara Tablighul Islam organized the biggest procession of the day that started from Meelad Chowk and ended at Qissa Khwani Bazaar. A Mehfil-e-Naat was also held at Qissa Khwani Bazaar where renowned Naat Khwan submitted their laudation to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). These ceremonies continued till late night all around the city. Special security arrangements were also ensured during the processions were taken out.
