Summary PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif told US Senator John Kerry that Raymond Davis issue would be resolved as per law of land and the federal government mishandled the issue. He said that if the government issues immunity certificate of Raymond that will also go to the court for final decision.
In a press conference after the meeting with John Kerry in Punjab House Islamabad, Nawaz Sharif said that the federal government mishandled the issue, otherwise it would have been solved earlier. He said that wife of a victim committed suicide.He said that US consulate has not yet handed over the car and driver to the Punjab police. He revealed five letters were written to the Consulate for this purpose. He said that he has informed John Kerry about all the developments.Nawaz said that different departments of the government have different point of view on the issue. PML-N chief didn’t answer the question of the reports that: will the party take to streets over Raymond’s immunity.
