Summary US Senator John Kerry, who is touring Pakistan, has involved in a string of meetings with Prime Minster Yousaf Raza Gillani, President Asif Ali Zardari and important state figures to win the support for the release of US citizen Raymond Davis, a dual killing convict.

Kerry discussed bilateral relations and the matter of Davis with the president. Earlier, Kerry met the prime minister in the Prime Minister’s House where federal ministers Rehman Malik, Babar Awan and state minister Hina Rabbani Khar were also present. Senator Kerry also met the finance minister Hafeez Sheikh and appreciated the measures taken by the Finance Ministry to strengthen the economy of the country. The senator will also meet Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz chief Nawaz Sharif.
