Summary Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftakhar Muhammad Chuadhry remarked that the court will continue unbiased hearing of Reko Dik Case and all questions will be addressed during, Dunya News reported on Tuesday.
A 4-member bench of Supreme Court headed by chief Justice of Pakistan was hearing the Reko Dik case, the bench remarked that the relaxation in the rules without the permission of the mining committee has no legal status.BHP’s lawyer informed the court that the company has fulfilled all the conditions of the agreement but now the Balochistan government has taken U-turn. Ahmed Raza Kasuri, lawyer of Sanjrani tribe, in his arguments told the court that the BHP was given concession in the joint venture of 1994 in licence and explosive licence.Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry asked the Advocate General Balochistan to present the notification of the 1994. The hearing was adjourned till 22 of Feb.
