Summary 2 bomb explosions on the Uderolal railway track near Matiari damaged one foot of the railway track. The Allama Iqbal Express had a narrow escape from disaster that could have been caused by the damaged track.
2 bomb explosions damaged the Uderolal railway tracks in Matiari early morning today. One foot of the railway track was severely damaged. According to the railway officials, the Allama Iqbal express coming in from Karachi to Lahore had to cross the damaged track. The train was stopped at the Hyderabad train station.In the past 4 days, 6 bomb explosions have taken place on railway tracks. Adequate security measures were not taken hence two more explosion have damaged the railway tracks. The bomb disposal squad upon receiving the news immediately arrived at the scene and soon started a search of more explosive materials along the track. Another train Khyber Mail coming to Lahore from Karachi was stopped at the Deetha Railway Station.
