PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Sikandar Sherpao of Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) has resigned on Sunday along with two special assistants of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) chief minister over end to the alliance.

Shah Farman, MPA of PTI in KP assembly had announced in a press conference in Islamabad that PTI has ended its alliance with QWP.

The three resignations that were rendered today came over ending of the alliance.

It should be mentioned here that the alliance was ended in 2014 also but only for CM Pervaiz Khattak to sign an agreement with the party to re-form the alliance.

Earlier today it was reported that Imran Khan and Khattak are not on the same page over ending the alliance.

It was reported that three ministers had complained to Khan against Khattak’s alleged favours to QWP.
