Summary Directions were issued to PTI that the Parade Ground will be vacated at 11 pm
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Islamabad district administration has granted permission to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to hold public gathering in Parade Ground this coming Sunday.
The opposition party is all pumped up to celebrate the Supreme Court verdict on Panama case which came in their favour i.e. the disqualification of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on moral grounds and incomplete disclosure of assets. PTI Chairman Imran Khan had declared to welcome Sunday as Youm-e-Tashakur.
Earlier, PTI had sought permission from the deputy commissioner Islamabad and requested to hold a rally at their desired spot. The application stated, “It is therefore requested to your good self to kindly grant permission for this jalsa and pass necessary orders for appropriate action.”
The permission has been granted on Saturday which additional directions. Authorities have told PTI rally organisers to vacate the Parade Ground before 11 pm. They have been told to form a separate enclosure for women and prepare for special security measures inside the rally.
The security arrangements outside the rally will be ensured by federal police and FC officials.
