As per details, Gambling on dogs’ fighting has become a routine matter in Bhawana and no one consider it illegal even law enforcement agencies have failed to take action against the crime. Even police officials have also supporting the dog-fighting instead of taking action. According to local people, no one considers gambling illegal in this area and police also take bribe to continue it. They said that gamblers form different parts of the country come here because they consider a haven for gambling. It is pertinent to mention, dog fighting involves having two dogs fight against each other, which sometimes results in death. Despite the cruelty and brutality of this practice, dog fighting still has a large following in different areas due to its gambling presence. However, one must seriously question why people choose to gamble on dog fighting when it is not only extremely inhuman, but also illegal throughout much of the world and can result in imprisonment.
