Summary PPP workers held a protest demonstration in Multan in favour of former Foreign Minister and demanded his reinstatement, Dunya News reported.
The rebel Jiyalas (PPP workers), came out on roads and demonstrate for the reinstatement of former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi. They threatened to launch a movement if Qureshi is not reinstated. The demonstration was organized in Taateypur area of Multan. The protesters said that Shah Mehmood Qureshi has been victimized due to his principled stance on Raymond Davis issue. The protesting workers said that Qureshi rejected any foreign pressure defending the integrity of the country and won the hearts of party workers by demanding the release of Dr Aafia Siddiqui.The demonstrators concluded that they will start a movement if the party leadership does not reinstate the former Foreign Minister.
