Summary Opposition leader said PML-N will face harsh consequences if PM Nawaz didn't resign within two days
SUKKUR (Dunya News) – Opposition leader of the lower house, Khurshid Shah, predicted that the final verdict of Panama Leaks case in Supreme Court could take as many as ten days. “Panama case finals verdict could emerge from eight to ten days,” he stated.
In a press conference at Sukkur, he warned Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) of harsh consequences if Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif didn’t resign within one or two days. He tauned, “The well-respect don’t stick to their chairs.”
Shah expects the ruling party to prolong the proceedings in the apex court by buying more time. He praised the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) to be able to establish the evidence within 60 days. Shah believes the final verdict will come to light within next 8 or 10 days.
While talking about Maulana Fazlur Rehman and his support to PM Nawaz, he advised the JUI-F leader to follow his lead. He said he considers Fazlur Rehman a good politician and had no clue why he called the JIT controversial.
“Even (PPP Co-chairman) Zardari respects Maulana Sahab,” he told.
Will Panama verdict affect CPEC?
On a question about whether the Panama final verdict will affect China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), he said that the court orders would have to be accepted all, and there would be impact on CPEC.
