The decision has been taken after emergence of Panamagate joint investigation team’s (JIT) report which makes damaging observations about the legitimacy of the wealth of premier and his family.
Sources privy to PPP told our correspondent that drive would be initiated from PML-N’s stronghold Punjab while sit-ins and rallies would be carried out to exert pressure on the ruling party.
Zardari has further instructed Bilawal to table resolutions in all provincial assemblies seeking premier’s resignation.
Meanwhile, Bilawal is going to chair sitting of PPP’s Central Executive Committee in Islamabad today where PPP’s top brass would contemplate on various aspects of protest movement and would take final decision.
“Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that two honorable judges of the initially formed 5-member bench of the SC has already pronounced guilty verdict against the Prime Minister. The remaining three honorable judges did not disagree with the findings of the two honorable judges but only called for further investigations through a JIT,” read the statement on PPP’s website.
