Summary The gas supply to 14 districts of Balochistan including Quetta could not be restored on Saturday.
As per details, 7 days before, two towers of power were destroyed by miscreants. Due to which power supply to many areas of the province has been suspended and the work on the damaged towers was still underway. Residents were facing difficulties due to non availability of electricity.Electricity supply was cut in Quetta, Mastung, Qalat, Khuzdar, Kharan, Nushki, Pishin, Qila Saifullah, Qila Abdullah, Bolan, Ziarat, Barani and Sherani after the towers were partially damaged by miscreants. The province is facing severe shortfall of electricity due to which there is about 12 hours electricity load shedding in Quetta and in some areas the load shedding is up to 20 to 22 hours.
