Summary Five days have passed since a massive fire broke out in Lahores Shah Alam Market; the rescue workers were able to take out a dead body out of the debris.

As many as four buildings were completely destroyed as a result of fire in Shah Alam market and debris is being cleared. First dead body has been recovered from the debris by rescue officials, identified as 25-year old Bakhti Khan of Shangla. According to police, the dead body is badly charred and completely beyond recognition. The dead body was immediately shifted to the city morgue. This clearing up of debris was supposed to being on Thursday but due to unviability of machinery, a delay occurred.
