Summary The Federal Cabinet resigned from their position and submitted their resignation to Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.The PM moved the resignations to Cabinet Division for approval. On the othe hand MQM subjected its inclusion in the cabinet to its 9-point agenda, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.
Last meeting of the Federal Cabinet held under the chair of PM Yousaf Raza Gilani, in which important issues were discussed. Addressing to the meeting, PM paid rich tributes to the members and expressed gratitude to them for their assistance and improving governance. He reaffirmed Govts commitment to continue the policy of conciliation. The Federal Cabinet resigned to pave the way for new faces in the cabinet. Minister for Minorities Shabaz Bhtati could not submit his resignation due to being on a foreign visit. The PM accepted the resignations of 33 ministers and moved them to the Cabinet Division for approval. On the other hand, MQM refused once again and subjected its inclusion in the cabinet to its 9 point agenda. MQM leader Raza Haroon said that MQM will not join the cabinet until its proposed 9-point agenda is not executed.
