Updated on

Summary After holding a meeting Punjab CM, PPP ministers have backpedalled from their call of staging a sit-in and demanded to constitute a joint committee to ensure the implementation of agenda.

PPP wrote a letter to PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif on February 3 to present a 19-point agenda and they decided to stage a sit-in in case they were not responded positively. But before that, Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif invited senior minister Raja Riaz for meeting. After getting invitation, he took party members into the confidence over the issue. Raja Riaz told media that he withdrew the call of sit-in over CM’s invitation.
