Summary The Pakistan Metrological Department has predicted cold weather in the country as rains and snowfall will continue in various parts of the country for 24 four hours. The PMD recorded 39 inch snowfall in Kalam, 25 inch in Malam Jabba and 5 inch snowfall in Murree.

Land sliding in Muzaffarabad has cutoff the region from other parts of the country. Several roads in Kashmir were also closed down due to snowfall and slippery caused by rains. Hundreds of vehicles are stranded on the Karakoram Highway, which was blocked due to heavy rains and snowfall in Gilgit-Baltistan region.Intermittent rain in Lahore and its suburbs did not let people to commute freely. Up to 5.2 millimeter rain was recorded in the city, while 4 to 22 millimeter rain was recorded in various cities of Punjab.In several districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Peshawar, continuous rain was recorded in last 24 hours. The 32 millimeter rain recorded in Peshawar disrupted the everyday life. Dir received maximum rain, 64millimeter, in the province.
