Summary The fire which erupted in Dana Market of Shah Alam area in Lahore has not yet been controlled. The blaze which was broke out in Ali Centre of the Shah Alam Market in the morning injured 24 people and engulfed the whole plaza.

The injured were shifted to the hospital. Later on, the fire also engulfed the adjacent buildings. Fire fighters are trying to dowse the fire but the congested location of the plaza is making the task difficult for them. Helicopters have been called to extinguish the fire. The fire damaged dozens of nearby buildings, houses and a mosque. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
