RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement, security forces foiled a major terror bid in Parachinar by seizing an explosives-laden car on Friday.
The ISPR statement said that a threat warning was received on March 25 about terrorists plan to explode vehicle laden with improvised explosives devices (IEDs) to target law enforcement agencies of civilians in Parachinar and surrounding.
Thereafter, law enforcement and intelligence agencies were on a hunt to track down the vehicles and on May 11 tracked a white Binjo 2005/6 Model near Kharlachi. Security forces traced the vehicle and found it fitted with heavy explosive.
