Farooq Sattar wants inquiry report of May 12 carnage be made public

Summary All the parties are involved in point scoring over the issue, expresses Sattar

KARACHI (Dunya News) – It has been ten years since May 12 carnage however the investigation report regards to the matter has not been made public as yet.

MQM-Pakistan leader Farooq Sattar brought this up at a conference being held in commemoration of the incident. 

Farooq Sattar leader expressed that all the parties are involved in point scoring over the issue except for MQM. 

He let it be known that the matter was being politicized even after 10 years have lapsed after the incident.

MQM leader professed that instead of political point-scoring over May 12 carnage the political parties should instead demand that a transparent investigation regards to the matter should be carried out.

He also urged the political parties to demand that inquiry report of the incident should be made public.

Sattar also revealed that cases were filed against more than 100 of the MQM workers after the incident.

He professed that the culprits should be brought to justice.
