Extremists again asked to drop weapons, join peace talks: Iftikhar

Summary KPK Information minister Mian Iftikhar has said that extremists are once again asked to drop their weapons and join peace talks. For that, Iftikhar said, he will also forgive the killers of his son.

Mian Iftikhar was addressing a public gathering on the occasion of first anniversary of veteran politician and poet Ajmal khattak in Khushal Khan Khattak Library at Akora Khattak.He said that conspiracies are being hatched to force the tribes to leave their homeland and that Afghan nationalists are being pushed to the wall. He reiterated that a peaceful Afghanistan is vital for restoring peace in Pakistan.Senior politicians, political workers and elders of the area besides Senator Haji Adeel, Secretary General KPK ANP Tajuddin, Afzal Khan Lala and Saadullah Jan Burq were also present on the occasion.Mian Iftikhar while paying rich tributes to services of Ajmal Khattak said that the Pashto Poet was torch bearer in struggle for rights of Pakhtuns and rendered great services for providing rights to neglected segment of the society.
