Summary One robber was arrested in critical condition after a gun battle in a police encounter.
In the precincts of Docks Police station, a fierce gun battle in the Machar colony between robbers and the police saw one of the robbers being shot. The police arrested the robber in critical condition and shifted him to hospital where he was treated.According to the police, the robbers were in the middle of a robbery when reports were received on the incident. The police rushed to scene to control the situation. Earlier a mugger, Gulshan Iqbal was caught by residents in the precincts of Aziz Bhatti Police Station. The residents after beating him handed him over to the police.
