Summary Nawaz Sharif inaugurated wheat harvesting campaign at Shergarh

SHERGARH (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif kicked off his public campaign with a speech in Shergarh. He addressed to public rally in the district.

PM Nawaz made comments about his rivals and members of the opposition. 

He said, "We re making road and they are measuring the roads made by us. We re updating the complete structure of Pakistan Railways. PML-N has started a six-lane motorway from Lahore to Multan."

"Power outages will no longer exist by 2018," Nawaz Sharif claimed.

While commenting on the rival groups, he said that the rivals knew nothing but protesting while they would keep on serving the people.

He reaffirmed, "Our rivals cannot witness a progressing Pakistan. Will talk to provincial government for solving the problems of the Okara region."

PM announced Rs 50 crores for the provision of gas in 100 villages. He said that the ruling government would further lower the prices of fertilisers by next year.

It was earlier told that Nawaz Sharif was about to initiate his public campaign from Okara. Nawaz Sharif inaugurated wheat harvesting campaign at Shergarh near Renala Khurd today.

He laid foundation stone of a six hundred million rupees gas supply scheme to some areas of NA-144 and a six hundred and thirty million rupees overhead bridge in Okara city.


Later on, soon after reaching Okara rally, PM Nawaz praised the enthusiasm of the attendees and compared it with that of 2013 elections.

He told that Rs 47 crores would be spent for Sui gas in the district while Rs 74 crores for Dipalpur Flyover.

Nawaz Sharif vowed to make electricity cheaper and assured its provision in Sahiwal, Haveli Bahadur Shah, Balloki, Karachi Port Qasim, Tarbela.

“Rivals repeatedly demand resignation, will I resign on such demands?” he made it clear.
