Summary The Minister of Railways suggested that hard work was required for a social revolution
LAHORE (Dunya News) – PML-N lawmaker slammed PTI on Friday by saying that change cannot be brought by just slogans and claims.
He said that a social revolution required hard work day and night. Railways Minister claimed that the income of his ministry had climbed up three times in the past three years.
Saad Rafique was addressing to an event organized by the railways department in Lahore. He vowed to increase the profits of Pakistan Railways.
He said, “Railways is rapidly upgrading the engines.”
“There is no room for negligence in the department. Strict punishments will be given after analyzing the nature of accidents,” he added.
He said that income of Pakistan Railways had doubled from 18 billion rupees to 36 billion rupees during the last three years.
