Summary PTI protested against refusal to allow them to hold press conference at PID, raised slogans
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Thursday protested over closing of the gates of Press Information Department (PID) on its leaders as the party leaders wanted to hold a press conference at PID. The leaders and party workers protested against the refusal and raised slogans against the government and PID, reported Dunya News.
There was physical clash between the PID officials and PTI leaders on the occasion. They raised slogans against the government and also lodged a complaint against Public Information Office (PIO) in Aabpara Police Station.

PTI alleged PID officials of misbehaving with the legislators and also staged a protest outside Aabpara Police Station. They also filed a complaint against PIO and Minister of State for Information Maryam Aurangzeb.
The PTI leaders claimed that they had as much right over PID as the ruling party and alleged that the government was using state institutions for its own promotion.
