ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif reportedly said on Thursday that people who were making false accusations would be disappointed ultimately.
According to sources, PM Nawaz responded to Imran Khan’s claim of being offered bribe worth Rs 10 billion in return to stay silent on Panama leaks case.

PTI Chairman had yesterday claimed that the man who made the offer was none other than Shehbaz Sharif’s close ally. Punjab CM immediately rejected Imran Khan’s accusations while his son Hamza Shehbaz announced to go to court against the opposition leader.
Shehbaz Sharif said, "If Khan’s allegation of being offered Rs 10 billion bribe is proven true then the nation should not pardon me."
Earlier, the PML-N-led government had challenged the PTI Chief to name the person who offered him bribe. PPP also remained vocal on the issue during the recent time as it demanded for a probe against such a shocking claim.
Sources told that a consultative meeting was held in Prime Minister House today where Nawaz Sharif stated that people who were making false claims would be disappointed in the end.
He also said that they party defended its case in Supreme Court and would fully cooperate with the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) for Panama case verdict.
Also, the government officials exchanged their views on the particular matter during the high-level meeting. They stated that Imran Khan could face action against him with respect to Article 62 and 62 if he failed to prove his claim.
It was decided in the meeting that the PTI Chief should provide evidence regarding his allegation.
