ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) will file a petition in the Supreme Court today (Thursday) for granting powers to the local bodies representatives, Dunya News reported.
The petition, seeking Supreme Court intervention to implement article 140-A, will be filed by Barrister Farogh Naseem on behalf of MQM-P chief Dr Farooq Sattar.
The mayors of Karachi and Hyderabad will also be present in the Supreme Court on the occasion.
