ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted hot and dry weather in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours, Dunya News reported.

The Met Office said that continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. Mainly hot and dry weather is expected over most parts of the country during the next 24 hours. However, light rain-thunderstorm along with gusty winds is expected at a few places in Rawalpindi, Multan, D.G.Khan divisions and Kashmir.

Meanwhile, weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country during the past 24 hours. However, light rain-thunderstorm along with gusty winds occurred at isolated places in South Punjab, Malakand division and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Shaheed Benazirabad, Sukrand and Dadu remained the hottest places in the country in the past 24 hours with mercury soaring up to 42°C while the temperature reached 41°C in Rahim Yar Khan, Rohri and Larkana.
