Summary Sports goods worth millions of rupees were destroyed in the blaze at a shop in Hussain Agahi Bazaar.
MULTAN (Dunya News) – According to details, fire broke out at the second floor of a three-storey sports goods shop in Multan’s Hussain Agahi Bazaar on Thursday.
The fire was so severe that it spread very quickly to the other floors of the shop. The blaze also engulfed two adjacent shops in the area.
Fire brigade and rescue teams reached the spot and brought the fire under control after a hectic effort of five hours. Rescue teams said that sports goods worth millions of rupees were destroyed in the fire.
Two rescue team officials were critically wounded when the roof of the second floor collapsed due to fire. The injured officials were shifted to Nishtar Hospital.
