SUKKUR (Dunya News) - Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Khursheed Shah has said on Thursday that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) burns down factories for the sake of extortion.

While talking to media after his visit to a public school’s examination centre in Sukkur, Shah said that MQM itself is stuck in money laundering whereas its members are running out of the country and becoming billionaire.

He criticized MQM’s white paper against PPP and termed it as futile.

While talking about the general elections he said: “We accepted Nawaz Sharif as prime minister despite having reservations and saved democracy during protests and sit-ins. However; if the same situation persist in 2018 elections, PPP will not back out but will contest the polls.”

He blamed PML-N for pressurizing them through their accomplices in 2013 elections.

Khursheed Shah said that verdicts are announced immediately on the petitions of higher authorities but Panama is still facing delay.

Shah asserted that Sindh needs 60,000 trained teachers whereas 70 percent of schools in villages are not getting basic education.

“Emergency should be imposed to prevent cheating in examination centres. We want our society to be literate for which there should be zero tolerance for copy culture,” he said.

He lambasted PML-N and said that they only notice the garbage in Karachi but do not pay heed to the poor condition of hospitals.

The opposition leader asked the Sindh government to ban polythene bags in the province because it pollute the environment.
