ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday ordered Anti-Corruption Punjab to stop the recruitment drive owing to the intense mistake committed in the process.

In his remarks, Justice Azmat Saeed professed that the Ant-Corruption Punjab has made an intense mistake in the recruitment process.

He observed that the matter of not considering women candidates for recruitment process is a matter of basic rights.

Justice Azmat Saeed inquired as to whether if the law of not to recruit women exist within Punjab.

The judge ordered that the recruitment process should be scrapped and applications be invited once more through an advertisement.

The counsel of Anti-Corruption Punjab admitted the mistakes committed in the recruitment process while seeking time for giving directions to his client.

The court was adjourned till April 12 for further proceedings.
